What is it about motivational speakers that jolts the human mind to greatness? Are they any different than any other Joe, Johnny, Jill or Barbra with a degree and a nice smile? But contrary to that age-old “sticks and stones” notion that words will never hurt, they in fact can both obliterate hopes and incite terror in others as with the words of Osama bin Laden, or move a nation to righteousness and awaken consciences as with the verbal temerity and unyielding courage of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. For when a person doubts, he or she lacks every hope, but when that same person has faith in the truth of his or her heart, as scripture tells, no weapon formed against such a person shall prosper because that person will somehow look for a bright side, a light in the darkest of places. That is the power of the human mind and heart. The simple words “I will” can literally will most anything into being. This is a fact known by all successful people through countless industries, beliefs and cultures - that whatsoever a person thinks about, consumes or acts upon, that person will, without any exceptions, become that thing.
